One Random Monday Evening

So it was one random evening after work, when my friend Jen and I planned to visit the Vanilla Cupcake Bakery (“Cupcakery”) in Glorietta. What was supposed to be only feeding my curiosity day turned out to be a semi-reunion with some of my Daet friends.

To cut the story short, I bumped into so many friends that night unexpectedly, never realized Monday evenings could be one common date night for people (ahem) mga layas!

Bumped into Barefootdaves (now with a new look!) -- parang product lang hehe

So we didn’t really plan on staying at the cupcakery forever so Jen and I just ordered one cupcake each. Sorry that I’m not in the position to review all cupcakes but I tried the Red Velvet one for P80.00 and I noticed that it was rather small, dry, and I didn’t quite taste the red velvet-y flavor much as I was expecting. I’d still go for Sonja’s cupcakes (Serendra) by far!

The interior like any other cupcakery in town looks very cute — and pinky!

In summary, if you’re looking for a cutie patootie place to tambay or to kill time, yes I’d go there, but if I’m craving for cupcakes maybe it just won’t be one of my options.

Hopefully I can try Larcy’s Cupcakery in Aguirre BF, and Cupcake Lab at the Podium soon! 🙂
